recently, i noticed that in my travels, i have been taking photos of me walking "forward". this is not sooo me.but i appreciate these moving forward photos better.

Occidental Mindoro: Way to The Mangyans

after crawling down a more than 10feet ravine just holding on to roots and after crossing a river, i was meters away to what i desired to see.

been trekking along the ancestral domain of the tribe of Mangyans; the mountains all around me - 360 degrees, are beautiful. and i think are easy to reach. below that mountain in the background is where a Mangyan community is. and that is where i went. 

Occidental Mindoro: Bridge Over Troubled Waters

this part of the cable-wire-bridge has thicker wires on its base. at the end part where i started, it has no wires like this; just plain "half-inch thick wire" to walk on. if i lost grip on those wires i was holding on to, the wild rapids of the river below me would have eaten me up and am sure i would have not missed the boulders. all these just to reach a Mangyan Community.

this they call batman mountain. there is really a name for this mountain - Bato Singit. which of course, as usual, i forgot. but whattah view from this house of a Mangyan Family. they said, i can immerse for a week with them. or a month. what kind of life is it to be in a Mangyan community within their ancestral domain?

Fuga Island In My Mind

i have been dreaming of oceans, islets in my sleep, for the past days. i think i am an islander. i can't wait for next summer. i have been promised to go here again, and sleep in that room facing the other islet.

this mountain filled my long 2-hour trip. only to find out that upon reaching the ancestral domain of the Mangyans, their mountains won my heart 

Vietnam: Saigon's Pancakes

this is the best shot i have here in SaiGon. i really laughed a lot when i saw this after the shot. the old couple were not saying anything. then when i laughed and looked at him, that old man and her old lady were laughing a lot too. we had a really sumptuos meal eating those variety of leaves. the old lady was smiling at me all thru out. i love  the pancakes.

Camotes Island: Dozed Overnight

i sleep anywhere. in the bus, on a soft bed, on sands, on a bench when am in an island, and here. it was full moon and i decided to stare at the bright moon till i dozed off. when i woke up, this bluish daybreak dawned before my eyes.

i arrive in my destination with a pure happy heart. 

with excitement. and just go with the flow. and be who i am. then all of it comes naturally.

there are just so many things that even the most expensive camera cannot capture.
this is confirmed everytime i witness truly wonderful creations of blues and greens.
and it feels heaven on earth.
all i can say is that travelling has always taken my troubles away.
and has revived my spirits at all times to keep on going and luvin' this life!
